Workplace mediation is an informal, confidential and cost effective resolution procedure designed to assist parties to resolve workplace conflict and achieve an ongoing workable relationship.  It requires an independent and impartial third party to facilitate discussions involving only the immediate parties to the conflict. 

 

Workplace mediation is typically used for lower level issues not involving misconduct or following a workplace investigation where remedial action is needed to repair a working relationship.
